FUR rescues abandoned, neglected, and abused rabbits. All Rabbits are spayed/neutered, litter box trained, vaccinated against RHDV2, and socialized before being adopted. Our rabbits are adopted to carefully screened indoor homes.

Update from Buttercups foster Mama. Turn sound on 🔉 He has nibbled on some Timothy hay and ate some critical care🐰❤️❤️ Once he’s stronger and finishes his medication the Vet will neuter him and look to see if the mass she feels is cancerous. He’s currently on 5 medications.

We just rescued this bunny that several people messaged us about (swipe to see more pics). The bunny screamed when picked up and is likely in severe pain. From the looks of the mouth the bunny has either an ear infection or teeth issues. Bunny whose name we are told is Buttercup is very thin and matted. We are rushing her to the Vet but we DESPERATELY need your help with her medical expenses.

UPDATE 6:45pm - X-ray did not show a tumor. Still not sure what the mass is that the Vet felt. He did well while his teeth were filed down. Buttercup is currently on his way home with his temporary foster Mama where he will get lots of TLC . He’s on an antibiotic and pain meds. He is in a very temporary foster home for now. If you’re available to foster one or more of our healthy babies dm us. We need to move him in another week or two to a medical foster home. Keep Buttercup in your thoughts and prayers please 🙏 🐰🩵

UPDATE: Buttercup is critical. His prognosis is poor 😢 He has ear infections, issues with his eyes due to the teeth issues, only 1 testicle which could potentially be cancer, the Vet feels what could be a large mass, he needs his teeth filed and has chronic dental disease, he has arthritis and is suspected to be 8 to 10 years old.
