Day 3 of the Santa Barbara Ultimate Garden Lover Tour included a visit to Bart’s Books in Ojai. Bart’s is the world’s largest outdoor bookstore and is over 60 years old! Bart's sells both used and new books and redefines the word "skylight." Trees grow inside and trellises cover cozy areas to sit! We didn’t want to leave! We were limited by the space in our carry-ons!

Day 2 of the Ultimate Santa Barbara Garden Lovers Tour was Ganna Walska Lotusland in Montecito. The 37 Acres of lush gardens are a must see when visiting this area. Reservations are required and summer dates fill quickly. Cathy and Julie did a 2-hour docent led tour in the morning, went to lunch, and returned in the afternoon for a 2-hour self-guided tour. Four hours is still not enough time to take in this incredible garden!!
