Folsom Garden Club

The Folsom Garden Club, in Folsom, California, was established in 1934, and is a Nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. and National Garden Clubs, Inc.

Our Motto is: May we blossom in friendship and grow in knowledge. We have 150 fun members who meet monthly and enjoy horticulture. The Folsom Garden Club was established to promote gardening, landscaping, and horticulture in Folsom, California, and to bring together those who want to establish goals for this purpose. Speakers at monthly meetings and occasional field trips help to educate members about gardening. The club meets ten months a year on the first Thursday of the month. We often have monthly field trips to local gardens or places of interest in the greater Sacramento region. We do community gardening projects throughout the year. We sponsor a yearly Garden Tour in Folsom the last weekend of April to raise funds for community grants and college scholarships. If you are interested in learning more about our club, please visit our website. The club is a member of the Sacramento River Valley District, California Garden Clubs, Inc, Pacific Region Garden Clubs, Inc.

🤣 This interesting but somewhat suspicious looking plant showed up in time for the spooky season. Talented folks who crochet can create one of their own because the pattern is available on Etsy. If you make one, please share a photo with us. And if you see one of these IRL…RUN!!! 🤣

Book Club meets today! 10AM @ Lew Howard Park. Remember to bring your 🪑.

Readers/gardeners-
Hope to see you all on Thursday at 10am at Lew Howard Park. We have a peculiar book to talk about. Again. The Peculiar Garden of Harriet Hunt by Chelsea Iverson has caused lots of chatter already, and it makes you wonder about our own intimate relationship with our plants. No one will be deemed, “crazy” if you are having conversations with your garden. No worries. All good. 😃

Hugs,
Lynn
