The Numbers Are In!

We’re incredibly thankful to everyone who took part in Comedy & Taco Night. Your generosity helped raise an amazing $21,000 toward our $37,000 goal for the Outpatient and Maternity/Newborn Care Project.

We’re also very grateful to those who couldn’t attend but still contributed, as well as everyone who supported the event in various ways. This is truly a blessing, and we give all honor and glory to the Lord.

Dear Friends,

We want to share an important update regarding our upcoming Changing Lives Together Comedy & Taco Night on May 1.
Our originally scheduled Comedian, Dennis Gaxiola, just informed us that he is unfortunately unable to perform due to ongoing health challenges following heart surgery earlier this year. While he had been hopeful he would be well enough to join us, his recovery is still in progress. We know many of you were looking forward to seeing him, and we share in your disappointment. Dennis personally recommended and arranged for another talented comedian, Stephen B. from Elk Grove, to step in for the evening. We’ve taken the time to review his work, and we’re confident he will deliver a fun and memorable performance.

That said, we completely understand if this change affects your plans. If you would prefer a refund, we will gladly honor your request. Simply reply to this email or contact us at [email protected] and we will promptly process your refund.

Throwback to 2015!

In 2015 the Sampa District Hospital, a 90-bed facility serving nearly 100,000 people in the Jaman North District, was facing serious challenges. With limited equipment and surgical capacity, emergency care was often compromised, leading to high mortality rates.

That year, something incredible happened. At the CLT Gala 2015, enough funds were raised to make a real difference — $57,000 went toward equipping an additional operating room at the hospital.

A powerful reminder of what can happen when people come together for a cause.

We’re excited to share that over the past several months, steady progress has been made both in planning efforts and on-site activities for the Outpatient Clinic and Maternity/Newborn Care Facility Project! Important early-stage construction is advancing external site work for the project.

More information on the progress will be shared soon. We look forward to keeping you updated!

This event benefits the outpatient clinic and maternity/newborn care project, which will provide support for families in Ghana who don't have access to what most of us take for granted.
