Black Cat Hunt begins Oct 15 - Oct 31
Seven elusive black cats will have found their way into local shops and businesses all across Downtown Foley Oct 15 through midnight Oct 31. Can you track them all down?
Here’s how to play using your Downtown Foley Passport:
Open your Downtown Foley Passport and navigate to the Black Cat Hunt.
Visit participating downtown businesses and spot the cat.
Check in on your passport and enter the cat’s name to claim 50 points per find!

Dear Downtown Foley Neighbors, Business Owners, and Friends,
As we watch the latest storm updates and prepare for the potential impacts of the approaching hurricane, our hearts and thoughts are with each and every one of you.
Downtown Foley isn’t just a historic district or a collection of storefronts—it is a family built on resilience, hospitality, and looking out for one another. While our buildings and streets have weathered many Gulf Coast storms throughout the years, nothing matters more to us than the safety and well-being of the people inside them: our shopkeepers, restaurateurs, employees, families, and neighbors.
Please remember that brick and mortar can always be rebuilt, but you cannot be replaced. We urge all of our merchants and residents to take storm preparations seriously, heed local warnings, and prioritize personal safety above all else.

Check in on elderly neighbors, friends living alone, and those who may need a hand with storm prep.
Monitor updates from the City of Foley, Baldwin County EMA, and the National Weather Service.
Stay off the roads once winds pick up, and avoid downtown until emergency personnel have cleared downed power lines and debris.

Foley has stood strong through many storms because of the strength of our community. When the skies clear, we will roll up our sleeves and rebuild, reopen, and recover together—just as we always have.
