Congratulations to Jena Hanson, the 73rd Princess Kay of the Milky Way! 👑🧈

As the ambassador for Minnesota’s dairy farmers, Jena will be the first finalist to take part in one of the State Fair’s most iconic traditions: having her likeness sculpted from a 90-pound block of butter. The nine other finalists will follow throughout the week, each becoming part of a Minnesota tradition. Stop by the Dairy Building to watch the sculptures come to life! 💜🐄

Thankful, grateful, and blessed.
As I officially conclude my reign as Princess Kay of the Milky Way, I can't help but look back at the moments, memories, and people who have impacted me throughout this journey.

Thankful -
Throughout the 11,994 miles traveled and 83 events attended, I am thankful for all the excitement, curiosity, and connections made. Each connection has turned into a memory I will cherish forever.

Grateful & Blessed -
To the Minnesota dairy farm families, I am forever grateful. This journey would not have been possible without each of you. Thank you for your dedication and always being my biggest inspiration. It has been a blessing to have been given a platform to not only listen to your stories but also share them. While a simple "thank you" could never do justice to how grateful I am, thank you for creating a community that is the heart and soul of dairy.
