During the summer months they are busy getting everything ready for students to return. During the school year they keep things clean and tidy. We would be lost without them! To our amazing custodial staff in Foley, thank you for all that you do!

Can you believe it is July 19th already? We certainly have been enjoying everything about summer, but know that school is right around the corner and soon we will have classrooms full of smiling faces!

Please read the post below, if education is something that you have a passion for and want to help serve your community, now is the time to run for School Board.

Notice of filing dates for election to the School Board: Independent School District No. 51 (Foley, Minnesota).

Notice is hereby given that the period for filing affidavits of candidacy for the office of school board member for ISD #51 shall begin on July 30, 2024 and shall close at 5:00 P.M. on August 13, 2024. The general election shall be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024.

Four members will be elected by a general election to the School Board for terms of 4 years each expiring 12/31/28.

Affidavits of Candidacy are available from School District Clerk, Sharon Kipka, at the District Office, 840 Norman Avenue North, Foley, MN 56329.

After 237 days with an expired contract, FUE reached a tentative agreement with the District! Thank you so much to our negotiators who worked tirelessly through several negotiation meetings and mediation to advocate for a fair contract to support Foley educators and students. Now that union members have voted in favor of the agreement, the contract will go to the school board for approval.
