The SPS Dream Center is a charitable 501c3 organization that provides support to struggling people through a variety of programs in San Pedro Sula, Honduras.

If you’ve been following us for a while, you know that one of the biggest programs we have at the Dream Center is our music program, which we run alongside UREMU, an incredible local Honduran nonprofit.

Last year, nine of our students were selected to be part of a group traveling internationally to Colombia!!

Guys, this is HUGE for our kids. So many of the children in this area rarely even leave La López, and now these kids are getting on an airplane, leaving the country, and representing Honduras internationally through music. What an incredible open door!

We’ve spent an entire year getting ready for this. The families have worked SO hard fundraising, selling things, asking for help and doing everything they can to make this trip possible. And if you’ve come down on a mission trip this year, you probably know about it because somebody has asked you to help! Many of you have already given toward this trip, and we are so, so grateful.

And now… THEY LEAVE IN TWO DAYS!!

We’re going to get up early and head to the airport to see them off, and we’d LOVE to be able to put a little spending money into each of their pockets before they go.

Whatever comes in, we’ll divide between our nine students and the one Dream Center adult traveling with them.

I just can’t say enough how grateful we are for opportunities like this. These are the kinds of moments we dream about for our kids, opportunities to see beyond their neighborhood, experience something completely new, and realize just how big the world is and how much God has for their lives.

Praise God for open doors! Colombia, here they come!

We love rewarding our kids and making learning about Jesus FUN!

This week, our students were given a little homework in stead of Chapel and those who completed it earned special DC tickets to spend in our store! 🎟️

Our DC Store is stocked entirely through donations from the amazing missionary teams who come to serve with us! We are so thankful for everything you brought this summer! Because of your generosity, we’ve been able to fill our store with fun things that encourage and bless our kids.

Thank you for helping us make moments like these possible. Now, let’s keep learning, growing, and getting excited about Jesus!

WHAT. A. DAY! 🎉🍕🍭💪🏽

Our Dream Center Kids Day was AMAZINGGGGG, and it took an incredible community of people coming together to make it happen!

A HUGE thank you to:

🍭 GK Foundation, Green Valley Manufacturing Hub & Comité de Responsabilidad Social Empresarial — for 200 SUPER bags of candy for our kids!

🍕 Pizza Hut — for SO. MUCH. PIZZA. Our kids were very, very happy!

🎪 Extreme Party — for the inflatables that brought nonstop fun and some very tired kids by the end of the day!

🎨 East Coast Believer’s Church Mission Team — for game supplies and face paint that helped make the day extra special and for serving so beautifully and loving on our kids in that hot hot sun!!!

💪🏽 And to our MANY volunteers who showed up, served, sweat, played, painted faces, passed out food, helped with games, loved on kids, and did whatever needed to be done. THANK YOU!

Days like this remind us that it takes a community to make a difference. Because of your generosity, hundreds of kids got to simply be KIDS, laughing, playing, eating way too much candy and pizza, and making memories together.

Thank you for believing in the kids of the Dream Center and for helping us give them an AMAZING Kids Day!

Today, Honduras celebrates 205 years of independence!

Because Independence Day falls during the school year, one of the most beautiful traditions across Honduras is seeing students fill the streets in school parades, proudly honoring their country. Over these past several days, we have been incredibly proud to watch so many of our DC students march! 💙🇭🇳

Many of the students you see wearing sashes are honor roll students, recognized for their hard work and academic achievement. We are proud of every one of them and all they represent.

Today, we celebrate Honduras, but we also pray for Honduras. We pray for peace, righteousness, opportunity, strong families, honest leadership, and a future filled with hope.

And as a nonprofit serving this nation, we remain committed to doing our part: educating, discipling, serving, and investing in the next generation so that we can help bring real and lasting change to the country we love.

Congratulations to all of our students who marched and represented their schools so beautifully! We are so proud of you.

It’s been such a blessing to have our friends from East Coast Believers Church serving alongside us in our kitchen!

One of the most costly, but also one of the most important, things we do at the Dream Center is feed the hungry. And Jesus reminds us why:

“Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” — Matthew 25:40

What a privilege to serve Jesus by serving others.

You have NO idea how hot it was this day! But that didn’t stop the ECBC team!

No power? No problem, we just pivoted and moved our widows and elderly gathering outside. It turned into such a beautiful time together filled with the Word, worship, fellowship, prayer, and special gifts.

So thankful for a team willing to serve no matter the circumstances and for every precious person we had the privilege of loving on!

Evangelism.

We love having the opportunity to go into public schools, share the love of Jesus in practical ways, pray with students and teachers, and simply be His hands and feet.

There are so many stories we may never know until we get to heaven: seeds planted, hearts touched, prayers answered, and decisions made.

Thank You, Jesus, for every open door, every conversation, every prayer, every seed planted, and every YES to You. And thanks for jumping ALL IN!

Day 1 with our friends from was amazing! Today we divided into men and women for a special time of ministry and fellowship. The women received a beautiful message about being like a tree planted by the river, followed by prayer, ministry, and gift bags prepared just for them.
The men had an incredible time together as well, hearing a powerful Word, encouraging one another, and finishing it off with some penalty kicks and plenty of fun!

We love seeing the body of Christ come together, serving, encouraging, laughing, praying, and building community.

And this is only Day 1! We can’t wait to see everything God has in store for the rest of the week.

The Dream Center was transformed into a full medical clinic with six exam rooms and a pharmacy! ❤️🏥

The medical team cared for more than 150 patients, providing medical consultations, medicine, and prayer for every person who came through the doors. Before leaving, each family also received a red-and-white striped bag filled with food to take home.

A huge thank you to for your extraordinary generosity. Not only did you make this medical clinic possible, but your team also served by planting around the Dream Center and helping us with our gate. Your love was seen in so many practical ways, and our community is better because of you.

Thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus. ❤️
