Don’t forget to come 🏌️ Saddle Up & Tee Off for a Great Cause! 🤠

The 35th Lexus Mayors' Cup Golf Tournament is more than a day on the course. Every golfer, sponsor, and volunteer helps create opportunities for local youth across South Alabama.

Your participation helps provide academic support, mentorship, workforce development opportunities, and life-changing experiences that prepare young people for success. In fact, many of the professionals now serving our community once walked through the doors of a Boys & Girls Club.

On tournament day, you'll even have the opportunity to meet some of our Club members and see firsthand the impact your support is making.

🎨📚 Our first look at afterschool programming is here!

Last week, our Foley Boys & Girls Club members jumped right back into learning, creativity, collaboration, and fun as they kicked off another year of afterschool programming!

Afterschool at Boys & Girls Clubs is more than a safe place for your child to spend their afternoons. It’s an opportunity to continue learning, build confidence, work alongside their peers, develop leadership skills, and have some fun along the way. 💙

Last week at the Foley Club, youth explored the science behind volcanoes in STEM, got creative with arts and crafts, learned about making healthy choices through the DeBakey Drug Education Bus from the Drug Education Council, Inc, enjoyed a fun trip to the bowling alley, and wrapped up the week with a cozy camp-in Pathway Church - Foley Campus complete with pajamas, snacks, movies, and summer camp fun.

Great things are happening at our Foley Branch. We will be partnering with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Central Gulf Coast to bring their High School Bigs program to our site after school.

This partnership with them will create meaningful and impactful relationships with High School Bigs and Littles.

On Last week our Club kids made ice cream in a bag with Collins Aerospace, learned about healthy eating and physical fitness, created sand art, built robots, and turned slime into creative works of art. We also enjoyed a sweet surprise from the ice cream truck and had a blast on field trips to the movies and Alligator Alley!

And just like that we’re at the halfway mark for our 2026 Summer Enrichment Program. Over the past few weeks members did some strategic thinking with chess and learned how to crochet. They also had the opportunity to go hands on with making slime and picture storytelling. Members at the Foley Branch are having fun and the fun is still continuing.
