✨Pollinator Spotlight!✨

The most common myth about goldenrod is that it causes seasonal fall allergies, however the actual cause of your sneezing is from ragweed that blooms at the same time!

Instead, goldenrod is a keystone native plant, providing late-season nectar and pollen for pollinators like bees, butterflies and migrating Monarchs when other flowers have already faded for the season. ☀️

We planted Little Lemon Goldenrod (thank you Clark's Greenhouse for ordering it for us) at our native pollinator garden space on Main St. (garden beds on the river side of the road across from Marvin’s), check back in the fall for photo updates when it’s in bloom ☺️
