Delt'nic *Delt'nic is NOT a subsidiary or affiliate of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated.

Delt’nic was founded by a group of sisters in the New York Metro area who are members of the non – profit organization Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. These innovative women wanted to create a day of fellowship and fun amongst Sorors, family and friends during the summer. Every year, Sorors and fellow Greeks, partake in family oriented fun, consisting of great food, fun games, community service a

nd a step show (all free activities to the public). Each summer we target a different area of concern and strengthen that population in any way we can!

Meet the Eboard through a !

“The significance of Delt’Nic supersedes any individual. It is a labor of dedication that I will cherish — always in all ways. This is the only National Pan Hellenic Council sponsored event that has been ongoing for over 4 decades. Each season we focus on a different area of concern, and it is no coincidence that we chose Sustainability this year. We emphasize camaraderie amongst Sorors — while also keeping many of our traditions alive. It has impacted me directly as someone who was first participated in the art of step as a 10 year old. It extends the legacy of our ancestors by continuing this form of expression — when many of them were previously silenced. Joy is one of the largest forms of resistance, resistance is a way of advocacy, and advocacy leads to progressive sustainability — which is what Delt’Nic has always represented to me.”

The outpour of support this season has been unmatched. We thank you for all of it. Sorors, you have been asking what else you can donate to help actualize this . Here are some answers:
Food - salad, meat, sides, drinks, etc.
Money - no amount is too small, and any amount is beyond appreciated.
Time - volunteer the day of to set up, serve food, and/or clean up.

Meet the Eboard through a !

“Serving as President while also stepping this Delt’Nic season is something I will cherish forever. I was even given the opportunity to contribute to the Step Council by creating a few steps that you will see at the Main Event. Even so, my fondest memory has to be from 2018 where I served on the Eboard for the first time — and also performed. We were the small, but mighty group. The theme was Homecoming, and we were majorettes. The idea came to our Step Mistress Jasmine (who just so happens to also be our Choreography Coordinator this year) even before Beychella; she was truly ahead of her time. Talk about a visionary! Though it was only 14 of us, we sounded and had the presence of far more. It was exciting to be able to forge bonds with the New Jersey Sorors who took their time and toll to commute to every practice. We might have lacked in numbers, but we never wavered in commitment, determination, or enthusiasm. It was such a great time.”
