We are so grateful for the generosity of our Flushing community and for everyone who donates food and clothing to help our guests. Your kindness makes a real difference, and we truly appreciate every donation! We kindly ask for your help with one important request. Please do not leave clothing or food donations outside our center buildings. When donations are left outdoors, we have no way of knowing how long they have been there or whether they have been exposed to insects, animals, moisture, or other potential other potentially harmful contaminants. This creates a health and safety risk for our volunteers and the people we serve. Sadly, when donations are left outside and their safety cannot be determined, we have no choice but to dispose of them. It breaks our hearts to waste items that were given with such kindness and generosity.
Please help us make sure your donations can be put to good use! Bring your clothing and food donations inside to a volunteer during our operating hours. Your generosity means so much to us. Thank you for understanding, for caring about our community, and for helping us keep our guests, volunteers, and donations safe.
