We are a community fridge located in Queens. If you want to donate food or money, but cannot get to

The Elmhurst Community Fridge is in search of a new host in Elmhurst preferably.
If you know of a store, community center or building that would like to host our community Fridge by allowing us to utilize externally their electricity , we would very much appreciate any suggestions or willing partners. We have lost our long time home on 77th and Woodside Ave and wish to continue providing food for our neighbors. Thank you all that continue to support us and who are apart of our community.

All of us at the Elmhurst Community Fridge would like to thank Cafe Bene at the corner 37th Avenue and 81st Street for their super healthy soups such as their Thai Chicken soup with Curry and Three Bean Chili. Special thanks to both Cafe Bene managers Cal and Hetzel and the super helpful Sydney!

The Elmhurst Community Fridge just received its first incredibly gracious donation from Doordash! Special thanks to Marge and Bill from Maspeth who will be picking up every Friday from Doordash and driving the donations back to the Fridge, and to the good folks at the Doordash store: Wilson Peña, Mel Perez, Alexis Soriano, Darren Urana, and Jose Cruz and to administrators Ivan Garcia and Dennis Lee at Doordash in Long Island City who could make all this happen!

Last night ECF2 received one of its largest donations! 150 prepared meals from Winnie who runs http://lovexyz.com in coordination with the owner of Shaku an incredible Japanese restuarant in Flushing - the good folks at Shaku made delectable ramen noodle meals both Vegan and Chicken. — http://ShakuRamen.com

ECF would like to thank La Boina Roja who gave the fridge an astounding thirty pounds of rice and 25 12 ounce bags of red beans. Thanks to Jimmy, and everyone at La Boina Roja at 80-18 37th Avenue, Jackson Heights!

🍊🧡El viernes fue un día ajetreado para Elmhurst Community Fridge! ¡Anna, nuestra voluntaria más nueva empezó! ¡Además tuvimos dos donantes de alimentos: Kim's Brothers, que dio una enorme donación de productos, y el Starbucks de la calle 82 con nuestro amigo Eddie, que le dio al frigorífico una enorme bolsa de bagels!🥯❤️

🍊🍊Friday was a busy day for the Elmhurst Community Fridge today! Anna, our newest volunteer started today! Plus two food-donor pick ups at Kim's Brothers, who gave an enormous produce donation, and the Starbucks on 82nd Steet with our friend Eddie who gave the fridge a huge bag of bagels! 🥯❤️
