Today, a number of our deanery youth ministers took a walk across the Big Four Bridge to visit the traveling People of Hope Museum, sponsored by Catholic Charities USA. Through powerful stories, the exhibit highlighted individuals facing unimaginable challenges, as well as the transformative impact of Christian service.

This was the perfect experiential learning opportunity for our ministers as they prepare to walk alongside youth during our annual Summer Daze and Faith In Action summer service programs — helping young people encounter Christ in those they serve. It was a meaningful reminder that when we choose to faithfully serve our neighbor, the life most changed may be our own.

Don’t miss this powerful museum experience as it travels across the United States. The exhibit is currently located on the Great Lawn on the Louisville side of the Big Four Bridge and is open today, as well as Friday and Saturday, from 10am–6pm.

On Friday, 40 middle schoolers joined us for an unforgettable night with missionaries from NET Ministries—filled with witness talks, powerful testimonies, hilarious skits, and time in prayer with Scripture, friends, and the Blessed Sacrament.

There was a lot of laughter, a lot of late-night energy… and eventually, yes, a little bit of sleep 😄

Grateful for a night where these students were reminded who they are—and how deeply they are loved. 💛
