After Prom is an exciting tradition at Floyd Central, sponsored by the PTO and FC Junior class parents. It is open to Floyd Central Juniors and Seniors, and their approved guests. You DO NOT have to attend prom to go to After Prom! After Prom is fun, safe, and supervised. Due to the scale of this event and the size of our student body there is a place for everyone to volunteer and put their person
al touch in making this a continued success. As in past years, we expect over 700 students at After Prom. The kids look forward to this event - FOOD, ACTIVITIES AND GAMES, MUSIC, AMAZING DECORATIONS, THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN DOOR PRIZES AND MUCH MUCH MORE, all included with the purchase of an entry ticket. Tickets will be available for purchase in May. WHAT WE NEED: As in past years, all Junior families are asked to donate $15 (in addition to the ticket price) to help defray the costs of After Prom. Bring the After Prom theme to life-Use school, purchased, handmade and rented decorations
Divide school into themed areas with sub-committees
ENTERTAINMENT COMMITTEE
Coordinate entertainment acts with the theme-DJ, photo booths, caricature & balloon artists, face painting etc
GAMES & ACTIVITIES COMMITTEE
Responsible for coordinating activities including inflatables, games (bingo, ping pong, corn hole, air hockey etc) & Cash Cab
SOCIAL MEDIA COMMITTEE
Update our Instagram and pages to drive excitement and thank our sponsors and donors
SPONSORSHIP/FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE
Mail letters and contact local businesses (we have it all ready)
Track all donations
Organize restaurant fundraising nights
PROM DRESS CONSIGNMENT FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE
Organize and Run Resale Event
SIGNAGE AND GRAPHICS COMMITTEE
Develop and Organize signage to announce activities at After Prom
PRIZE COMMITTEE
Purchase prizes from our BIG budget
Coordinate distribute donated and purchased prizes (gift cards, tickets, material donations)
VOLUNTEER and RECRUITING COMMITTEE
Update and Manage Sign Up Genius
Coordinate and Partner with other committee leads for volunteer needs night of event
TICKET SALES COMMITTEE
Coordinate ticket sales for event
Coordinate event sign-in/check-out night of event
FOOD COMMITTEE
Obtain and coordinate food donations for the night (local businesses and community members)
TREASURER
Facilitate management of After Prom funds including committee reimbursement, deposits, and checks and cash for payment of event activities
SET UP AND BREAK DOWN
Set up begins Friday at 3pm and Breakdown on Sunday following the event
