ATTENTION MEMBERS!!

Looking for volunteers with boats for Veterans Fishing Day! 🎣🇺🇸

In past years, we have had more veterans wanting to fish than boats available, and we would love to make sure as many veterans as possible get the chance to enjoy a special day on Claytor Lake.

Veterans Fishing Day will be held on Sunday, June 7, from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Claytor Lake State Park. This annual event honors our veterans with a day of fishing, fellowship, and appreciation on the lake.

Participants and volunteers will enjoy a free lunch from Mission BBQ and have the chance to win door prizes!

Please let me know ASAP if you want to help out this year! Remember we voted this in as a event this year in our club! We had a blast last year hanging out with the veterans and there families and ate some good food too, if you are on the fence about it trust me it is well worth your time and everybody is super appreciative of your time!!

ATTENTION!! Tournament tomorrow at Smith Mountain Lake Oak grove 630-3

Ramp is probably going to be busy and there is also the annual sml poker run tomm with the big boats... So this is a fair warning to show up early for parking and be prepared for the wake most of the day and most importantly id say bring some patience with you for the ramp!!

Derek is going to launch his boat when he arrives so just look for sign in and if you see it spread the word to others... Also lake is very low so be careful out there!!

We have heard there could be other tournaments going out of oak grove so just trying to give everybody a heads up!! See you all in the a.m.!!

Philpott lake is calling, the scales will be waiting, and the leader board could belong to you! But one thing is for sure if you don't show up there is not much chance in taking home the bragging rights tomorrow!!

Tomorrow is the 4th tournament of the year! Philpott lake twin ridge ramp 630-3 be signed in and payed by 6 a.m. Safe travels to and from and hope to see you all there!!

All, we voted to postpone the April 11th tourney for a later date to be announced.

Also, next club meeting is April 6th at the fire house. Looking forward to seeing everyone there before we head to Kerr!

Smith Mountain Lake
Oak grove ramp 7-3 entry paid before 630a.m.

Our last club tournament at claytor brought 20lbs of small jaws to the scales let's see what happens at Smith tomorrow!

Can you beat the 20lb mark from last tourney and happen to get that 25- 30lb bag? Maybe the club's big fish record will be broken tomm??

Time will tell check back in for results!!
