Blue Design Build blends artistry and craftsmanship through custom design, woodworking, building, and handcrafted creations. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the creative process behind a variety of projects while discovering unique works available for purchase.

Take a guided walk through the property to experience the SIPS-built tiny house on wheels, mushroom garden, and metal, clay, and glass studio. A developing trail connects these creative spaces, offering a behind-the-scenes look at how art, design, and sustainable building come together.

🎨 Guest Artist: Caroline's Creative Art | Caroline Tresino
Caroline creates a wide variety of mixed-media artwork including jewelry, clothing, garden signs, decorated animal skulls, painted furniture, musical instruments, and whimsical fish made from palm tree seed pods. Her colorful and imaginative creations will be available for purchase.

Early Giving for GiveLocalNRV is now open!

GiveLocalNRV is the Floyd Center for the Arts' most critical source of unrestricted annual support. While grants and designated gifts help fund special projects and improvements, GiveLocalNRV helps sustain the people, programs, and operations that make everything else possible.

In 2025, FCA:
• Welcomed more than 7,800 visitors
• Served nearly 800 students
• Supported more than 400 artists through exhibitions and vendor opportunities
• Welcomed more than 1,900 attendees to the Floyd Living Traditions Festival

Explore the art of mandala-making through the principles of Sacred Geometry in this meditative drawing workshop. Using compass and straight edge techniques, students will create their own unique mandala designs in a guided, step-by-step process with time to personalize their work with color.

⚒️ Hand Tools for the Blacksmith with Carter Hundley
June 6 & 7, 2026 | Saturday & Sunday | 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Forge and finish essential blacksmithing hand tools including punches and chisels, then put your new tools to use in the forge. This workshop is designed for students with previous blacksmithing experience who want to build a strong foundation in traditional toolmaking.
