Just a final THANK YOU to each of you for being such kind and generous Friends of The Floyd County Store. With your donations through GoFundMe and those gifts dropped off at the Store, you not only met the $60,000 goal, you exceeded it! The combined total was $63,129!

Your stories and support for the Store have been so inspiring. Thanks to each of you, the Store should be able to weather the winter. We know that owners Dylan Locke and Heather Krantz as well as their staff are overwhelmed with gratitude for your help.

We all look forward to the time we can safely gather inside the Floyd Country Store for music, dancing, food and fellowship. And we rejoice to think that now this will continue for generations hence.

We did it! Thank you for helping us raise $60,000 for The Floyd Country Store. It is now more than ever abundantly clear that the Country Store is a vital landmark in our lives and we are so happy to be able to give back a portion of what they give to us everyday. At The Floyd Radio Show extravaganza event in September 2020, Sammy Shelor brought a great group of heavy-hitter bluegrass musicians, featuring members of Lonesome River Band and Lost and Found.

We'll be enjoying another Floyd Radio Show event tonight, Saturday October 3rd at 7:30pm EDT on The Floyd Country Store and Floyd Radio Show pages, which will wrap up our fundraising campaign to support The Floyd Country Store through COVID. Thank you to all who have donated, shared our campaign, shared stories and memories of Floyd Virginia, and The Floyd Country Store. We have such an amazing community, and we cannot wait to get together and tear up the dance floor once more!

Thank you to everyone who has donated to our campaign so far, we are so truly grateful to all of you. We are wrapping up our campaign after tomorrow night's live stream of The Floyd Radio Show: October 2020, so if you've been waiting until the last minute to contribute, this is it!

We are excited to announce that we are closer to our goal with a few generous private donations, and now stand at $51,000! We've made this "Banjometer" as a visual of how close we are to our goal and will be updating it until we end our campaign tomorrow.

Even though we may not be able to gather as close on the streets right now, your support helps ensure that The Floyd Country Store will be able to host us all well into the future.

This is the last week of our fundraiser to help the Store make it through these uncertain times.
