Metropolitan YMCAs of Mississippi to Host Two Free Kidney Health Screenings for the Community

The Metropolitan YMCAs of Mississippi, in partnership with healthcare professionals Davita & Bridge of Life, will host free Kidney Health Screenings for community members on June 29-30, 2026, at the Flowood YMCA and Clinton YMCA.

Kidney disease often develops silently, with few or no symptoms in its early stages. As a result, many individuals may be living with kidney-related health concerns without realizing they are at risk. These free screenings are designed to increase awareness, promote early detection, and provide valuable health information to participants.

Healthcare professionals will be on-site to conduct screenings, answer questions, and provide educational resources focused on kidney health, prevention strategies, and healthy lifestyle choices.
