A look back at an incredible two days at The Refuge Golf Course! The 2026 Flowood Mayor's Cup Golf Tournament & Silent Auction brought together over 400 golfers, sponsors, volunteers, local businesses, and community partners — all in support of Children's Advocacy Centers of Mississippi.

The 2026 Flowood Mayor's Cup Golf Tournament & Silent Auction hosted by Mayor Kathy Smith reminded us once again what can happen when a community comes together for a cause. ⛳️💙

Over two days at The Refuge Golf Course, nearly 400 golfers joined alongside an incredible group of sponsors, volunteers, local businesses, donors, and friends — all helping us support Children's Advocacy Centers of Mississippi and the important work they do for children and families across our state.

To everyone who played a round, sponsored a hole, donated an auction item, served a meal, volunteered their time, or simply showed up to support the mission: thank you.

Mayor’s Cup has been a Flowood tradition for more than two decades, and it continues because of a community that believes in showing up and giving back.

What a day at The Refuge Golf Course! ⛳ Our team played in the Flowood Mayor's Cup Benefit Golf Tournament on September 17, supporting the Children's Advocacy Centers of Mississippi and the kids and families they serve.

A local charity event with a statewide impact. ⛳️💙 On Sept. 17–18, the Flowood Mayor’s Cup returns to The Refuge Golf Course with an opportunity to help support the Children's Advocacy Centers of Mississippi and their important work across our state.

In 2025 alone, 9,490 child abuse victims received services through a Children’s Advocacy Center.

That’s just one of the numbers highlighted by Darkhorse Press in its recent feature on the 2026 Flowood Mayor's Cup Golf Tournament & Silent Auction and this year’s beneficiary, the Children's Advocacy Centers of Mississippi.

CACM also reported that in 2025:
• 5,053 professionals received training to effectively respond to child abuse cases
• 1,782 hours of expert support were provided to Mississippi’s 15 member Child Advocacy Centers
• 193 students and professionals participated in case simulations through the Child Advocacy Training Institute
