Venture Crew 20 meets weekly at 7pm on Thursdays at Meeple Madness. At our first Thursday meeting each month we have a non-perishable food collection drive. So far in 2026 we have collected 425 pounds (85%) of our 500 pound annual goal. All donations go directly to local community members with food security challenges via Hamilton Mill Presbyterian Church Food Pantry. Way to go members of Crew 20, we’re almost there!

You all are amazing. That's all we can say. Our fans, hands down, are the most giving humans on the planet. We are blown away.

Crews for Colleges!

You Are Invited!

Please join us for our next national Venturing Webinar on Wednesday, August 19, at 7:30 PM CDT. Our topic is Crews for Colleges — Keith Gehlhausen, National Venturing Committee Membership Taskforce will take a practical look at how we help college-age program participants join, feel welcome, and stay involved. These steps are key to starting and sustaining strong crews.

Register in advance for this webinar here:

With a brief look back at why college-age Scouting has been hard to sustain, this webinar looks forward: it lays out the paths a campus can take (crew, alumni affiliation, individual service, plus partner organizations), helps a founder choose what fits their institution rather than copy someone else's, and covers the practical work of getting started. We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday, August 19th.

If you have questions about the Webinar or Venturing, please contact the National Venturing Committee at our email address:

Venture Crew 20 did amazing work on recycling this month with our Charter organization Meeple Madness patrons help.

In addition to all the cans/bottles/plastic we collected from the customer’s generous recycling, we also collected cans from the Venture Crew 20 families. Proceeds from recycled cans are used to support Crew operations, and all the plastic and glass are sorted and recycled.

Crew 20 is working hard to keep ourselves sustainable, and we are proud to help keep at least one or two pickup trucks full a month worth of recyclables out of the landfill.

If you have aluminum cans you would like to donate to Crew 20 (and especially if your neighborhood doesn’t recycle anymore), we bring the ivory RAM 1500 truck on the first Thursday of every month at 7pm. Feel free to “pitch in” your bag of cans. Thanks for your support of Scouting!

Last night the Meeple Venture Dojo Supershow Title was on the line between long-standing champ Kaylin Landrian-Shrewsbury and challenger Nathan Wood, the bell was rung and the match was underway for “one fall”. This long awaited match between the two was eventful with some exciting plays and a lot of high rolling dice turns! In the end Nathan pulled off the win with an exciting Crowd Meter 2! Nathan took home the new Championship ring, and Kaylin kept her original Championship ring with green gem, and the inaugural title / winningest of the era ring with rose colored gem. Congratulations to both who have served admirably as Meeple Venture Dojo champs and are both Venture Crew 20 President alumni!
