The National Women's Political Caucus was founded in 1971 to promote women's political equality. and number one for the amount of money donated every year.

The purpose of the NWPC Foundation is to build an endowment fund that will provide a reliable income stream for the National Women’s Political Caucus. Our History
In 2012, the National Women’s Political Caucus launched the NWPC Foundation with the express purpose of building an endowment fund that will provide a reliable income stream for the national organization as well as to its state and local

affiliate chapters for leadership development, education, membership outreach, and research projects. The NWPC Foundation has a nonprofit 501(C)3 tax status, with funds deposited at the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation. This woman-run Foundation is the seventh largest Community Foundation in the U.S. NWPC Foundation funds are distributed through an annual, competitive grants program restricted to NWPC Inc, LDERF, and NWPC state and local affiliate caucuses for their programs, events, publications, and activities that fit within 501 (C) 3 guidelines. The National Women's Political Caucus Foundation's Tax ID # is 46-0543877. All donations to the NWPC Foundation are tax deductible.

Wishing all mothers, grandmothers, caregivers, and mother figures a beautiful and joyful Mother’s Day filled with love, appreciation, and rest.

Today we celebrate not only the individuals who nurture and raise families, but also the incredible strength, resilience, and compassion that mothers bring into our homes and communities every day. Mothers play a vital role in shaping future generations, offering guidance, care, sacrifice, and unconditional love that often goes unseen but is deeply felt.

It is also a reminder of the importance of supporting women in every stage of their journey-whether in family life, the workplace, or community leadership. When we uplift and support mothers, we strengthen families and strengthen society as a whole.

The National Women's Political Caucus Foundation exists to strengthen and increase women's ability to lead at the highest level of elected and appointed office.

This past weekend we celebrated **International Women’s Day (March 8)**, and during this **Women’s History Month** we want to take a moment to recognize and thank our incredible **all-female Board of Directors of the National Women’s Political Caucus Foundation**.

Movements are never built alone — **it takes a village**. It takes passionate leaders, dedicated volunteers, and the financial support of our community to grow the feminist movement and to provide **programs and grants to our state and local caucuses** across the country.

We are deeply grateful to our volunteer board members for sharing their **time, wisdom, and experience** to guide this important work.
