*A Special Letter from BMR Alumni and Current Camp Parent, Lesley Lorenz*
Dear Friends,
If you ask my children what they miss most this summer, the answer is undoubtedly, “Blue Mountain Ranch!” The Graf family is heartbroken that because of the COVID-19 global pandemic, Camp isn’t full of our children making friends, playing games and experiencing the spirit of Blue Mountain Ranch. My kids take comfort in their old camp memories and look forward to the amazing promises of BMR 2021!
In the meantime, our beloved BMR needs our help. The reality is that even without campers, BMR still has expenses like animal care and feeding, maintenance items like fire extinguishers and other property costs, as well as insurance. Without tuition, there just aren’t enough funds to improve, maintain, and get things ready for next summer.
I know these are uncertain times, but I also know that BMR holds a special place in all of our hearts. I had the best summers of my childhood at Camp and so have my children! We can’t wait until next summer when we drive through the gate knowing we’re back at our home away from home. If you're able, please join us in helping our much-loved BMR and Graf family through these difficult times.
The Blue Mountain Ranch Friend Fund is a special campaign for COVID-relief and falls under the BMR Legacy Fund. To make your tax deductible donation, please visit https://bit.ly/BMRFriendFund. Any amount is greatly appreciated and will be used to make a difference.
With love and deepest gratitude,
The Lorenz family
