Today, we honor Reformation Day and the German theologian whose conviction and faith helped launch the Protestant Reformation — and shaped the Lutheran tradition that has influenced our organization since its founding.

On October 31, 1517, Martin Luther shared his Ninety-Five Theses, sparking conversations about faith, grace and the role of the Church that continue to influence Christians around the world today.

While much has changed over the centuries, the core values of faithful care, compassionate service and caring for our neighbors continue to inspire the work we do every day.

Reformation Day is an opportunity to remember power of asking thoughtful questions, seeking truth and living out our faith through service to others.

🦇 As Halloween approaches, we think the only thing scary about senior living is how many myths are out there. 🕷️

For example, many people worry it will be difficult to make friends in a new community. In fact, researchers believe that senior housing communities are ideal for reducing loneliness among older adults, where they are surrounded by peers who share similar life experiences.

EverTrue Affordable Housing communities offer many activities and diverse opportunities for social engagement between neighbors — in addition to the clubs and interest groups residents can join.

Jeaneen found friends and community by founding a walking club when she moved into EverTrue Hilltop Heights. With all the walking and other activities that keep Jeaneen and her friends busy, she says “I might be 89 but I feel like I’m 30.”

We are continuing to showcase the winners of the 2026 JOY Awards that took place during this year's annual JOY Week last month.

Meet Miss Madeleine, winner of the 2026 Most Creative Award! She enjoys making mesh wreaths, bejeweled vases and glasses just to name a few! She is also a very talented baker and chef- always trying new recipes!

Meet Miss Rosie! She's been looking out for her neighbors since she moved here in 2009! She is always welcoming new residents with her friendly spirit! This year she was the winner of the Most Neighborly Award!

Meet Miss Dorthy! She is the matriarch of the building as she moved in when we opened our doors almost 25 years ago in 2002! This year she was the winner of the Heart of Gold Award. Congratulations and thank you for making our community warmer just by being here with us!
