Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post #11411 of Florissant and Lake George will conduct its Honor Guard Ceremony in memory of veterans that are buried in local cemeteries on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, 2026 at the following times and locations:

10:00 a.m.
4-Mile Cemetery
11:00 a.m. Florissant Cemetery
12:00 p.m. (noon). Lake George Cemetery

The public is invited to attend these ceremonies to honor our deceased veterans.

VFW Veteran Fundraiser-Open to the Community!

Please join us on April 18th at 4pm for a Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser to support a local Veteran that experienced a house fire.

A day late but still remembered!

Today we recognize the 35th anniversary of the start of the Persian Gulf War. We honor our nation’s Gulf War veterans and their service and sacrifice in support of .

Over the summer our youngest post member, (who happens to currently be our only Femae Veteran member!) started a project with her husband who is in the auxiliary, of documenting each post member’s service history, stories and what made them join the VFW. The goal of this project is to create a hard copy book with these testimonies transcribed and their photos, to keep history of our post members and their stories.

Although this is quite the undertaking of a project, it is priceless and unforgettable!
