🚨Meet our Dog Feature of the Week 🚨

Sweet Andy!

Andy has been at the shelter since January 💔 and is ready to bust out and find his forever family!

This cute boy is the total package—friendly, well-mannered, and eager to please. Andy has a big personality packed into a smaller frame and definitely believes he’s much bigger than he really is! He has a little “small dog syndrome” and will happily stand guard over his favorite people as if he’s a giant Cane Corso. His devotion and loyalty are truly something special. He’s about 30 lbs and 1.5 years old.

🚶 Walks beautifully on a leash
🐱 Great with cats
👧 Wonderful with kids
🐕 Gets along well with other dogs

Happy Sunday! With all the recent adoptions, we wanted to post this guide when it comes to getting dogs acclimated into a new environment. Some of these animals have been at the shelter for months, so it may take some time for them to adjust. This is a great rule of thumb but of course, some dogs may adjust right away and some may take a little longer.

Y’all, we had so many wonderful dogs find homes today, we could (and maybe have) cry happy tears. 😭 Some of these dogs have been long term residents of the shelter, like KC and Mary-Kate. Two very sweet girls that just hadn’t found their perfect match yet.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you all so much for the continued support and giving these amazing animals a chance. 🙌🏻 ❤️
