***Florence County Board Seat Opportunity***
County Board of Supervisor – District 1 – Town of Aurora - Vacancy
The Florence County Clerk’s Office is seeking letters of application to serve on the Florence County Board of Supervisors, District 1. County Board members make recommendations and establish policies for continuous and comprehensive programs to serve all Florence County residents. Appointment to the Board will finish out a 2-year term, which expires April 2028. The Board member will receive a per diem and mileage for every meeting attended.
Interested individuals must reside in Florence County, in the Town of AURORA, and live/vote in District 1.
**Please submit a letter of interest as soon as possible - - we want to fill the seat.**

***Florence County Forestry and Parks Position Open***
PARKS and RECREATION TECHNICIAN

Florence County Forestry and Parks Department is accepting applications and resumes for the position of Parks and Recreation Technician. This position is full time – 40 hours a week and is required to work some weekends and some holidays.

The purpose of this position is to operate and maintain the County Parks, boat landings, campgrounds Keyes Peak Ski Hill and the Florence County Forest under the direction of the County Forest Administrator as guided by Florence County’s Forest Fifteen-Year Forest Plan.

Applications are due by 4:00 pm, Thursday, September 17th, 2026.
