PawPrints Animal Rescue was founded in 2015 in the northern Kentucky area by a group of dedicated people with a passion for animals.

Our goal is to save as many lives as we can by saving all breeds of dog and cats that are at risk of euthanasia in area shelters. With the help of an amazing group of volunteers, all animals are fostered in loving homes until they are adopted. We are an all volunteer organization and rely on donations from the public to cover medical expenses and necessary supplies. PawPrints is a 501(c)3, nonprofit, status meaning any donations are tax deductible.

🐾 The Three Musketeers Are Looking for Their Forever Homes! 🐾

Take one, take two, or—if you’re feeling extra adventurous—take all three! ❤️ These boys love spending time together, but they’ve been waiting FAR too long for families of their own.

Meet the musketeers:

🐶 Hagrid is a 4-year-old tripod Doodle with plenty of love for running and playing! A fenced yard would be ideal for him, as running comes more easily than walking. Hagrid needs to set his own pace and decide when he’s ready for a break.

🐶 Finn is the fluffy one! At just 1 year old, he’s Charlie’s brother. Finn is sweet and a little cautious around new people at first, but once he gets comfortable, he may chat your ear off! He’s quite the conversationalist. 🥰

🐶 Charlie is also 1 year old and absolutely loves other dogs. His enthusiasm can sometimes make his play style a little rough—or even a little rude—but Finn and Hagrid handle his antics just fine!

🐱 A home without cats would be best for all three.

They do not have to be adopted together, but we’d certainly love to see a pair stay together—or perhaps find that wonderfully crazy person willing to welcome all three Musketeers into their home! ❤️

🐾 Meet Beatrice! 🐾
Beatrice is a beautiful 13-week-old female Tri-colored Beagle puppy looking for her forever family! 💕

This sweet girl is confident, curious, and full of puppy charm. She loves being around other dogs and is always happy to make new furry friends. Curious about cats but learned quickly to show respect when asked politely by dog savvy cats! She’s crate trained, and potty training is coming along nicely but is still a work in progress.

She’s the kind of puppy who is ready to learn, explore, play, and fill her forever home with love and plenty of happy Beagle moments. 🐶❤️

If you’re looking for a sweet, confident, social puppy to grow up alongside your family, Beatrice may be your girl! 🏡💕

Finn may be your guy! 😂

Finn is a professional chatterbox who has plenty to say. He loves to complain, share his opinions, and listen to all of your woes. Basically, he’s the friend who will always answer your call, even if he does have a few complaints of his own.

Finn is a year old, enjoys hanging out with other dogs, and is far too interested in cats, so a cat-free home is a must.

All he needs now is a forever person who appreciates a good conversation and doesn’t mind a little commentary along the way. 🐾

Meet the newest member of the PawPrints crew—the spunky and sweet, Minnie! 🐾

Minnie came to us as a stray, and while she’s currently a little rough around the edges, she is soaking up all the love she can get. At just 9lbs, she’s the ultimate lap dog—and she has the most adorable way of asking to be picked up!

She’s currently on a "glow-up" plan: we’re working on getting her to a healthy weight, helping her fur grow back, and getting her spayed and teeth cleaned. She isn't quite ready for her forever home just yet, but she is officially ready to be loved!

She’s a happy, shadow-of-a-dog who just wants a human nearby. Stay tuned for updates on her journey to wellness. We can’t wait to help her find the comfy indoor life she deserves!

At just 9 weeks old, she’s already stealing hearts with those floppy ears, curious nose, and irresistible puppy charm. She’s settling into her foster home now and will be ready to find her forever family in just a few short weeks.

We have some big news! Sugar and Beetlejuice’s foster mom said it best.

719 days.

That's how long Sugar Momma and Beetlejuice waited for their happily ever after. 🐾❤️

Today, we are overjoyed to share that they have finally found their furever home!!!

After nearly two years in foster care, cuddles, purrs, fights, lots of patience and literal blood, swear and tears ( iykyk), these two sweet babies are starting the next chapter of their lives with a family of their very own. While it's always hard to say goodbye, there is no greater reward than watching a foster pet walk out the door and into the life they've been waiting for.

Sugar Momma and Beetlejuice, We will miss you more than you know, but our hearts are so full knowing your forever family finally found you.

Happy Adoption Day, sweet babies. Your forever starts now. 🥳

P. S. Shout out to the young couple who opened their hearts and home to two adult cats that have continuously been overlooked. ❤️
