The Influential Initiative is proud to make an impact through our Pages with Purpose initiative, putting books into the hands of children and creating opportunities for learning, imagination, and growth. ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ“š

A special thank you to Meadow Glen Elementary School for generously donating the books that made this project possible!

We are also grateful for the Claflin University students who helped pack, organize, and deliver the books, including members of the Gamma Chi Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Theta Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., and Mu Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Thank you to every student who lent a hand!

We hope each book inspires a child, encourages a love for reading, and opens the door to new possibilities.

Today, The Influential Initiative hosted its very first tabling event during the Grand Opening of the Bethel Brittons Neck Legacy Baseball Field, and we couldnโ€™t be more grateful for the incredible support from our community! ๐Ÿ’›

We had the opportunity to share our mission, introduce our programs, and connect with both youth and adults about the work weโ€™re doing to create meaningful change. Visitors also had the chance to leave suggestions in our community ideas box, sharing the resources, programs, and opportunities theyโ€™d like to see brought to their communities all while enjoying a few sweet treats! ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿ“

A special thank you to Bethel Brittons Neck for allowing us to be a vendor during this exciting community celebration. We are honored to have been part of such a meaningful event and to celebrate a space that will serve generations to come.

Today, our students proudly showcased everything they learned during STEMpact Camp through presentations, reflected on their experiences, celebrated their accomplishments, and received certificates recognizing their hard work and dedication. ๐Ÿ’š

Throughout the week, our campers explored soil science, plant growth, gardening, sustainability, renewable energy, STEM careers, and so much more through hands-on activities, experiments, and exciting field experiences. Watching their confidence, curiosity, and teamwork grow has been truly inspiring.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to our students for showing up each day eager to learn, our parents and families for trusting us with your children, our amazing volunteers for your dedication, Pre-College University for your continued partnership, Coastal Carolina University for welcoming us to campus and sharing your beautiful community garden, the Marion County Library System for hosting our students, and every supporter who helped make this week possible.
