The notion of an 'angry black woman' is, in my opinion, a misconception; it is a term utilized to belittle black women and maintain their subordination. Women who have elevated their voices against social injustice, medical disparities, food deserts, governmental gaslighting, redlining, election fraud, and numerous other issues have all been labeled as angry black women, underscoring the common experience of many black women who have been stereotyped. This label presents a considerable challenge for black women in various aspects of life. Utilizing our voices to advocate for the voiceless often results in being labeled. At this juncture in fighting for justice, we are resolute. We will stand firm and take a stand. It does not matter about the label we must persevere until our appointed time.

Know your truth:𝗨𝗻𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗧𝗼𝗺 was a man who refused to beat black women.𝗨𝗻𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗧𝗼𝗺 was a man who refused to tell on other slaves.𝗨𝗻𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗧𝗼𝗺 was a man who would put cotton in other slaves’ bags at night, so that they wouldn’t get beat!𝗨𝗻𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗧𝗼𝗺 was a man who helped 100 slaves get free long before the underground railroad.𝗨𝗻𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗧𝗼𝗺 was a man, that once free, established the 1st Laborers school for other fugitive slaves!𝗛𝗶𝘀 N𝗮𝗺𝗲? 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗮𝗵 𝗛𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗻!𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗮𝗵 𝗛𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗻 was an author, abolitionist, and minister. Born into slavery, in Port To***co, Charles County, Maryland, he escaped to Upper Canada in 1830, and founded a settlement and laborer’s school for other fugitive slaves at Dawn, near Dresden, in Kent County, Upper Canada, of British Canada.
So stop calling these sell-outs Uncle tom! That’s a compliment! Its Sambo that was the sell-out, who would do anything for his slave masters’ approval!

On this 5th day of December, the Village Elders and the spirit of the Ancestors Circles convene to pray for peace and healing in our communities. Our hearts are heavy 💔 as we reflect on recent tragedies, including a birthday party in California that turned deadly with four homicides, three of whom were children. Two recorded incidents of children in groups attacking adults, the r**e and brutal attack on a five year old and left in the woods to die by neighborhoods children. Family violence has tripled since 2015. As we share our thoughts, what actions can we take to inspire hope, positivity, and resilience in our young people, empowering them to create a brighter future and prevent such violent acts? Who can we hold accountable when children commit violence, and how can we work together to foster a culture of compassion, empathy, and understanding?
