Tomorrow is Denim Day! 👖
In 1998 the Italian Supreme Court overturned a r**e conviction, ruling that because the victim was wearing tight jeans, she must have helped remove them, implying consent.
Wear denim tomorrow to stand with survivors and raise awareness about harmful myths surrounding sexual assault!

Tonight our SANE Nurses and Advocates at One Place joined me at tonight’s city council meeting whereas Mayor Tyler presented One Place a proclamation proclaiming April 2026 as Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
The proclamation calls attention to the fact that sexual violence is widespread and impacts every person in the community. We must strive to create a strong, connected community to ensure the safety and well-being of others to end sexual violence.

Join us and UNA Softball at Hilda B. Anderson on April 3rd at 1pm as we come together as a community to stand against sexual assault and show support for those impacted.
We will also be accepting donations of individually wrapped snacks to support those we serve! 🤍
