It's March Madness....we have a plethora of events planned!

BBQ, visiting the Florence Area Humane Society, hiking the Hobbit Trail, Cooking Clubs, swimming at Coastal Fitness and much more. Come in and pick up a calendar and permission slip.

How exciting...we will also be open for Spring Break, March 24th through March 28th, from 1pm-6pm!

Come see us this Saturday, September 7th. We are participating in the Community Yard Sale...starting at 9am. There are LOTS of goodies that need a home. Teens are welcome to show up and help out. Call the Teen Center for details.

WE'RE BACK!!! We hope everyone had an inspiring first day of school. It was nice to see the happy faces of our teens again...even if they still wish it was summer. :)

Today is the LAST DAY of our Summer Program. THANK YOU to everyone that participated this summer...especially to everyone that provided us with Career Exploration opportunities and fun filled field trips. We really appreciate your time!!! Teen Center members...we'll see you in the After School Program!

August 15th- Siuslaw Rod and Gun Club

August 16th- Family BBQ @ SES from 2pm-3pm, swimming at 4pm

Next week's schedule at the Teen Center:

Monday the 29th- Hiking the Hobbit Trail @ 4pm

Tuesday the 30th- TBD...most likely swimming @ 2pm and a either some beach time or Career Exploration @ 4pm

Wednesday the 31st- 2pm visit to the Community Garden @ SES and a 4pm visit to Sandpines for some golfing

Thursday, August 1st- Teen Clubs Meet @ 2pm & we visit the Siuslaw Public Library @ 4pm

Friday the 2nd- Hike at Sutton Recreation Area to Alder Dune Campground for some swimming, leave at 2pm and return by 6pm

July 25th- 1pm: swimming at Coastal Fitness, 2:30: Career Exploration to Siuslaw News, 4pm: Siuslaw Public Library

July 26th- 2pm- swimming at Honeyman State Park, 4pm: Bonfire & Hotdogs at the Teen Center

Attention Teen Center Members....

We have a great fundraising opportunity that has been provided to us by Greentrees Village. We will have the responsibility of painting house numbers on driveways for the residents in the Greentrees community.

Meet us at the Teen Center at 10am on July 22nd, 24th, and 26th (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday). We'll take the van to do some painting and then get a free lunch provided at the Siuslaw Elementary School. After, we'll return to the Teen Center for our regular summer programming.

Don't forget to wear clothes that you don't mind getting paint on!

THANK YOU to the Florence Humane Society for giving us the grand tour and for giving us the opportunity to learn about being a volunteer there. We loved it and can't wait to visit again!
