Key attributes of a volunteer Friends of Florence bus driver include a strong commitment to safety, good people skills, and reliability.
While some experience is helpful, these personal characteristics are valued just as much as driving skills.
A Friends of Florence trainer will provide all the technical driving skill training with assisted and trainee hands on driving experience. The new bus Friends of Florence uses is a better ride for
our passengers and very close to driving a new car.
There is no special bus driver's license required.
