The Boomer's & Senior's programs have much to offer to the community. As of March 19, 2012 ours programs have all moved to The Club which was formerly know as The Florence Country Club. The Club is located at 450 Country Club Drive, Florence, AL 35633. We are located 1.2 miles south of Cox Creek Parkway on Savannah Highway on the left or 3.4 miles north of McFarland Park on Savann
ah Highway on the right. The Club serves a hot lunch daily as part of our Nutrition Program at a nominal fee as well as offers many other activities, some of which are listed below:
Tuesday/Thursday: Joint's in Motion 9:30AM - 10:15 AM. Please come and enjoy our chair exercise class to gentle range of motion exercises to help us with the activities of daily living. There is no fee or pre registration for these classes. Exercise Leader/Trainer: Fran "fish" Davis.
$1 lunch 11:30 am for 60+ years old. Sign in by 10:30. First Come ……
Square Dance Monday nights, 6-8 pm. All ages. Caller Kevin Kozad. Tuesday: Boomer's & Senior's Dance: The Club, 6:30-8:45 pm. Spanning two generations and 7 decades of music. The Brown's provide us with their great musical talents for fun dancing. Activities: 9 am-3:30 PM Rook, Dominoes, Rummycubes, 5 Crowns, Mexican Train!! Rock painting!! Boomer & Senior Fishing Days at Deibert Park, 6:30 am - 11:00 am. Bring your own fishing equipment, sunscreen and snacks. Catch and Release, Catch and Keep, Catch and Share.
