North valley old pickup show June 9th 2018 In e florence high school west parking lot. 9am till 2pm Entry fee $15.00,free for spectators, all proceeds go to florence community programs

It’s not your ordinary car or truck show: OPUS is about “the soul of the machine”--that special something that makes people give their trucks names like “Baby” or “Old Yeller” or “S.O.B.” Trucks with history, trucks that are part of the family, trucks that, if they could talk, would have some stories to tell. Trucks that have hauled a lot of wood, rocks, game and garbage over the years, gotten the

ir owners to their favorite fishing and hunting spots, gotten them in and out of trouble, helped them make a living. Trucks with unique adaptations for work purposes: racks, bumpers, booms, winches, etc. Trucks with the patina of time and hard use; scars, dents, rust. “Rust is beautiful” is an unofficial motto at OPUS. Beautifully restored rigs have always been part of the show, too.
