Northampton Dollars for Scholars Northampton Dollars for Scholars® is a community-based volunteer organization providing scholarships for local students' post secondary education.

For over 38 years the businesses, individuals and families of Northampton have helped Northampton Dollars for Scholars raise money to fund scholarships. The humble beginning of Northampton Dollars for Scholars owes its gratitude to the foresight of Fred Ames, Ralph Levy, Frank Heston, Kay Sheehan, and Russ Cooper. They began the Dollars for Scholars chapter in Northampton, with the goal of each resident donating one dollar per year. With your support over these years the volunteer board has been able to provide hundreds of thousands of dollars in scholarships to hundreds of Northampton residents to assist in their pursuit of education beyond high school. We can only live up to our pledge to be a "community behind our students" with your continued donations. Working with you, we can assure that the students of today will be prepared to be the leaders of tomorrow. Whether you are a faithful supporter or a new donor, we thank you for your continued generosity to the students of Northampton. The number of applications for scholarships increases every year. To meet this growing need we ask for your financial support. Whether it's a one-time donation to a fund raising event, an annual contribution, or a special bequest with a memorial scholarship, there is a way for you to be a part of the future success of Northampton students. Contact any Board member to learn more about how you can support a scholarship. Thank you, on behalf of the entire Board of Directors, for choosing to support Northampton students by donating to Dollars for Scholars. Together we are the "community behind our students."

What an incredible evening celebrating the amazing students of Northampton! 🎓✨

Tuesday Night, Northampton Dollars for Scholars was proud to award scholarships to 87 graduating seniors and 81 post-secondary students as they continue their educational journeys. We are continually inspired by the hard work, determination, and accomplishments of these students, and we are honored to support their futures.

A huge thank you to all of our generous sponsors and scholarship donors who make this possible year after year. Many of these scholarships honor beloved family members, educators, and organizations that have left a lasting impact on our community, and we are so grateful for your continued support and generosity.

Thank you as well to our guest speakers and community leaders for joining us and celebrating these students with us, including Dr. Portia Bonner, Andrew Linkenhoker, Mayor Gina-Louise Sciarra, Benjamin Taglieri, and Senator Jo Comerford for serving as our keynote speaker this evening.

And finally, congratulations to all of our scholarship recipients! Your hard work has paid off, and we cannot wait to see all that you accomplish next. 💙💛
