For over 38 years the businesses, individuals and families of Northampton have helped Northampton Dollars for Scholars raise money to fund scholarships. The humble beginning of Northampton Dollars for Scholars owes its gratitude to the foresight of Fred Ames, Ralph Levy, Frank Heston, Kay Sheehan, and Russ Cooper. They began the Dollars for Scholars chapter in Northampton, with the goal of each re
sident donating one dollar per year. With your support over these years the volunteer board has been able to provide hundreds of thousands of dollars in scholarships to hundreds of Northampton residents to assist in their pursuit of education beyond high school. We can only live up to our pledge to be a "community behind our students" with your continued donations. Working with you, we can assure that the students of today will be prepared to be the leaders of tomorrow. Whether you are a faithful supporter or a new donor, we thank you for your continued generosity to the students of Northampton. The number of applications for scholarships increases every year. To meet this growing need we ask for your financial support.
