It's and a good time to reflect on the fact that with the right policies, we can end homelessness within a decade.

A Plan to End Homelessness sets out exactly what's required.

👷‍♂️ Building 25,000 social housing properties a year.

👩‍👦 Providing a housing guarantee to women and children fleeing family violence.

🏡 Providing homes and support to people who have been homeless multiple times to help them stay housed.

👧 Providing young people who can't live at home with the support they need to succeed.

⬆️ Increasing JobSeeker to at least $70 a day and boosting rent assistance by 50%.

For some, the past year was one we hope to do better than. For some, the past year was one we merely survived. For some, the past year broke us. For some the past few years broke us.

Instead, we will use all of the bad, hurt, failures, loss, disappointment, every single negative thing… We will use it to help propel us forward. Each day is a new beginning. LIFE is a frame of mind. YOU are in control! Take it! TAKE IT!!!!!

Change DOES NOT happen over night. DO NOT expect it to! Instead, live today as you wanted to live yesterday or last week. Simply be and just know you may not be where you envision, but you are not where you were yesterday. What’s changed? That most important change there is! YOUR FRAME OF MIND! YOUR PERCEPTION OF WHAT YOU CAN DO! YOUR WILL TO MAKE THIS MOMENT BETTER THAN YESTERDAY!
