Another great Shoals Home Builders Association General Membership meeting last night at The Rock Red Clay Table event center! Over 100 in attendance to enjoy steak dinner and inspiring speaker. John Mothershed spoke to the group about the importance of listening to customers & clients. Meeting was sponsored by Randy Bratton Builders, US Brick, Matthews Builders, and Henninger, Johnson & Layton Insurance. Tyson Johnson [HJL Insurance] informed members about new discounts on general liability insurance and other insurance benefits for SHBA members. Eleven new members were recognized and given SHBA tags. Next meeting will be Tuesday, August 12th. Hope to see you there!

SHOALS HOME BUILDERS ASSOCIATION WINS AWARD

Montgomery— The Shoals Home Builders Association was honored during the Home Builders Association of Alabama (HBAA) 2016 Annual Convention, held October 27-29 in Nashville.

The SHBA was presented with the President’s Trophy for a Small Association by 2016 HBAA Mark Reid. Each year, the current HBAA President selects two local Home Builders Associations (one large and one small) to receive President’s Trophies in honor of outstanding service and excellence throughout the year.

Shoals HBA President Chad Baker accepted the award on behalf of his association. This is the third year in a row that the SHBA has received the President’s Trophy.
