Women in tech in rural Colorado have the skills, the drive, and the ambition, but not always the community around them to match.

Emergent Campus hosts the South Central Chapter of the Women-in-Tech (WIT) Network to help change that. It's a free membership that connects women and allies across Southern Colorado with local meetups, mentorship, leadership development, and access to a global network of 11,000+ members in 76 countries.

WIT exists to encourage women to pursue careers in tech, help them advance into leadership, and push companies toward real gender equity. It's the kind of community that helps celebrate wins and helps create them.

After 6 years, we have a sign. The design team created a framework to enclose the historic sign and leave it in place without damaging it. Special thanks to the Armstrong Family at Westward Machine and Tool, Inc. in Penrose, and the folks at Klein Makerspace.

The new sign font is a reproduction of the 1921 font carved in stone above the front entry.
