🦁🤝 Representing the Florence Lions Club at the Senior Center Vendor Fair 🤝🦁

The Florence Lions Club recently participated in the Senior Center Vendor Fair on October 1, connecting with community members and sharing information about our service projects, programs, and volunteer opportunities.

We’d love to share a photo of Lions Norm and Jack at the event, but they were too busy working the booth and visiting with attendees to stop and take one! Fortunately, they did manage to capture a few photos of the Florence Lions Club display.

Thank you to Lion Norm and Lion Jack for representing the club and helping spread the word about the many ways Lions serve our community.

Interested in learning more about the Florence Lions Club? Guests are welcome to attend our Fourth Wednesday meetings to meet members, learn about our service projects, and discover how to get involved.

🦁👓 Giving the Gift of Sight, One Pair at a Time 👓🦁

Florence Lions Club members recently gathered once again at Lion Ken’s home for another eyeglass sorting project.

Through the collection and sorting of donated eyeglasses, Lions help provide vision assistance to individuals who may not otherwise have access to the eyewear they need. Every pair sorted represents an opportunity to improve someone’s quality of life.

A special thank you to Lion Ken for graciously hosting and to all the dedicated volunteers who gave their time to support this important service project. Your commitment demonstrates the true spirit of Lionism and our mission to serve others.

Together, we’re making a difference, one pair of glasses at a time.

🦁🌏 From Hong Kong to Florence: The Global Reach of Lionism 🌏🦁

One of the most remarkable things about being a Lion is that service connects us across the globe.

At a recent Florence Lions Club meeting, Lion Norm presented Claire with a special Lion gift from the Lions Clubs International Convention in Hong Kong. What began as a piece of an international gathering of Lions has now found a home right here in Florence, Arizona.

The gift serves as a reminder that while Lions serve locally, we are part of a worldwide organization spanning more than 200 countries and geographic areas. Through that global network, friendships, traditions, and acts of service connect communities from places like Hong Kong to Florence.

We’re grateful to Norm for sharing this meaningful keepsake and proud to have Claire as one of our special young Lions, representing the spirit of service wherever the journey takes her.
