As the only CDH charity that gives continual monthly grants to multiple families at a time, we aim to help others and keep Eden's amazing legacy alive.

We are honored to share the new logo for the Eden Calhoun Charitable Fund, now updated as our profile picture (thanks to our board member Thayer Riggs)! This design reflects both our mission and the legacy of our Eden Jeanette Calhoun, in whose honor this organization was created.

The aster, Eden’s September birth flower, has long symbolized love, wisdom, patience, beauty, faith, friendship, and purity. These meanings feel deeply personal to our family and our mission:

✨ Love — Our love for Eden is infinite and continues to fuel the work we do each day through this charity.
✨ Patience — Though we wish she were here with us, we carry patience as we continue living fully and serving others until we are reunited with her.
✨ Wisdom — In her 27 days, Eden taught us more about strength, purpose, and love than we ever thought possible.
✨ Beauty — Eden’s beauty, both in appearance and in spirit, continues to radiate and touch lives far beyond her time here.
✨ Faith — Her life deepened our faith in ways we never expected and has strengthened the faith of many who hear her story.
✨ Purity — Eden will always be pure, deeply loved, and forever cherished by all who were blessed to know her story.

As we move forward with this new logo, our mission remains the same: to provide financial assistance and support to CDH families navigating the challenges of extended medical care, including travel, housing, meals, and essential living expenses during long NICU stays.
