Most people have been taught to experience Eros through the narrow lens of sexuality.

But Eros is far bigger than that.

Dance the Tarot - this Sunday 6/21 with .animist.witch

Find inspiration and guidance through intuitive practices in dialogue with the ancient divination practice of tarot!

This workshop was inspired by a presentation I attended by artist, dancer and occultist Laura Tempest Zakroff, and born from a recent realization that I get my strongest psychic impressions when I’m moving my body - particularly while dancing

Since then Esja has been experimenting with combining movement practices with Tarot reading and have had interesting and oftentimes stunning results. It’s been fascinating to see how movement can allow for a deepening of intuitive knowing, AND how the movement itself changes when it’s informed by the archetypal imagery of the Tarot!

We will be experimenting with this together by exploring the Tarot through solo, partnered and small group practices in which we’ll get to play with accessing deeper levels of our intuition through movement and sense attunement. Our movements will be inspired by the archetypal images of the cards, and we will see what new insights arise when we allow these archetypes to move through our bodies.

Tarot cards will be provided, but if you have a deck that you love feel free to bring it!

Fluentbody™ is a somatic movement practice that invites us to be generous to our body and mind.

With the help of poetic imagery, breath, voice and rhythm Carolin takes you on a journey of delicate, pleasurable, playful and powerful movements. Through creating energy highs and harvests, we open the doors to physical sensations and emotional landscapes that allow us to be and feel all of ourselves. With curiosity, and awareness we meet the many textures of our essence. The practice is an exploration of how to show up with generosity in and for our body, our soul, our mind, and each other. Fluentbody™ offers direct access to more resilience, choice, wholeness, and an entry to the art of connecting – move by move, breath by breath.

Build Connection, Capacity, and Vitality with Embodied Co-Regulation offers practical tools for embodied relating and co-regulation in intimate, professional, and communal spaces. Led by Beth Dennison, this experiential session draws from interpersonal neurobiology, Somatic Experiencing, and Bodynamics to help participants explore upregulation, downregulation, and social engagement in a warm, inclusive environment.

Shaking is an intutive mammallian process for releasing stress and tension, and welcoming vitality and flow.

Well start with a brief intro and warm up, the get right into this hour long practice to music.

Circling is a facilitated group meditation / authentic relating practice that helps us bring more of ourselves into connection—while learning how to listen deeply, speak from the present moment, and be with what’s real and alive.
