Come and sit with me sweetheart. ❤️

Some of us are exhausted because we’ve spent years chasing things that God never told us to pursue.

We chased acceptance.
We chased relationships.
We chased opportunities.
We chased approval.
We chased status.

But what if the answer was never in the chasing?

What if the answer was in the seeking?

Jesus said:

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
— Matthew 6:33 KJV

Notice He didn’t say chase “things.”

He said seek HIM.

When we seek Him, He adds what we need.

Let’s stop running after what God can bring to us in His perfect timing.

Come and sit with me sweetheart. Let’s reflect. Let’s heal. Let’s grow together….. On The Cozy Couch ❤️

Come and Sit With Me Sweetheart…

Many people are exhausted because they have spent years trying to be who others expected them to be.

The good news?

God never called you to perform.

He called you to belong.

When we spend time with Jesus, masks begin to fall off. We stop striving to be accepted and start resting in who God says we are.

Your healing, purpose, confidence, and identity are all connected to your relationship with Him.

Before asking, “Who am I?” ask, “Lord, who do You say that I am?”

“Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee…” — Jeremiah 1:5 (KJV)

“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation…” — 1 Peter 2:9 (KJV)

Today’s conversation is about wisdom.

Wisdom isn’t just knowing something. Wisdom is applying what you know. Sometimes we’re waiting on a new revelation when God is asking us to be faithful with the revelation we’ve already received.

What has God already told you to do that you’ve been putting off?

Pause. Pray. Listen. Then take the next step.

“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.” — James 1:5 KJV

God is not withholding wisdom from you. Ask Him for it today.

Today’s word: PRIORITY.

Many of us are praying for increase while leaking what we already have.

We ask God for more money while wasting the money He has already entrusted to us.

We ask for better health while feeding our bodies things that are destroying them.

We ask for peace while entertaining chaos.

God is not just concerned with what we have. He is concerned with how we steward what we have.

Before asking for more, maybe today is a good day to ask:

“Lord, have I been faithful with what You already gave me?”

“He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much.”
— Luke 16:10 KJV

Let’s reflect on that today. ❤️

STAY FOCUSED.

Sometimes healing requires focus.

Not everyone will understand your journey.
Not everyone will agree with your boundaries.
Not everyone will celebrate your growth.

That’s okay.

When Peter stepped out of the boat, he walked on water while his eyes were on Jesus. The moment he focused on the wind and waves, he began to sink.

How many of us are allowing life’s storms to steal our focus?

Today, return your gaze to Christ. He has not changed. His promises have not changed. His love for you has not changed.

“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee…”
— Isaiah 26:3

Keep your eyes on Jesus. ❤️

Life Conversations with Faith at the Center

Come and sit with me sweetheart. ❤️

Let’s talk about humility.

Sometimes God allows us to become successful, knowledgeable, gifted, influential, or prosperous—not so we can think more highly of ourselves, but so we can learn how to carry His blessings with humility.

The quickest way to lose perspective is to forget the One who gave you the gift in the first place.

There is always more to learn.
There is always room to grow.
There is always a reason to give thanks.

The more we know God, the more we realize how much we still don’t know.

Tonight, let’s pause and thank Him for every blessing, every lesson, every closed door, every open door, and every breath.

He is worthy of it all. ❤️

Scriptures:
“And what hast thou that thou didst not receive?” — 1 Corinthians 4:7 KJV

“God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.” — James 4:6 KJV

What if today wasn’t about getting more?

What if today was about noticing what you already have?

A roof.
A breath in your lungs.
Food on the table.
A Bible within reach.
Another chance to get it right.

Sometimes healing begins when gratitude enters the room.

Take five minutes tonight and write down ten things you’re thankful for. You may be surprised how much God has already given you.

“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:18 KJV

Wonderful Thursday evening!

Today’s reflection:

What if healing is happening even when you can’t see it?

Sometimes healing isn’t loud.

Sometimes healing looks like:
✨ More peace.
✨ Better boundaries.
✨ Less anxiety.
✨ More trust in God.
✨ More grace for yourself and others.

Faith teaches us that God is always working, even when we don’t immediately see the results.

📖 “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.” — Philippians 1:6

📖 “And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 4:7

📖 “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28

Tonight, rest in knowing that God is still working. ❤️

Today, I want you to remember something:

The grace of God is not a reward for getting everything right. It is a gift from a loving Father who knew we could never save ourselves.

The cross says:

“I saw every mistake.”
“I saw every failure.”
“I saw every weakness.”

And I loved you anyway.

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” — Romans 5:8

Friend, if God thought you were worth dying for, don’t spend another day believing you’re worthless.

You were worth His blood. 🩸

Today’s word is: Go Deeper.

Not deeper into worry.
Not deeper into fear.
Not deeper into distraction.
Deeper into God.

Deeper in His Word.
Deeper in prayer.
Deeper in gratitude.
Deeper in healing.
Deeper in surrender.

Shallow water may feel safe, but growth happens when we trust God enough to go beyond the surface.

Wade in the water. God is calling you deeper. 🙏🏿
