I'm taking a break from cooking today to support my favorite charity We were definitely freezin' for a reason this morning setting up at 5 am. Now the the place is buzzing and getting close to opening ceremonies to kick off the 5k. Lots to see and do here today in Florala, AL. Come see me and help raise some money for today's recipients who are fighting cancer 💪

Sometimes as Benevolent Bakers we are presented with other opportunities to help. Last night was doing a bread drop and noticed a gap in the pantry where there was only one kind of canned food and the rest of the pantry was empty.

Word has traveled about Dave's involvement in keeping his local food pantry stocked and several people from outside the area have donated money to help keep it filled. He was able to make use of some of that money to fill an immediate need on-the-fly. In ten minutes, he returned with a variety of foods to round out the offering for those in need. Thank you to those donors and their selfless support!
