🎉 DAVIE IS COMING HOME! 🎉

❤️ A Journey of Courage, Hope, and Healing ❤️

In November 2025, 13-year-old Davie Nirdhan left Guyana for Armenia to begin the fight of her life.

After relapsing with a rare and aggressive form of leukemia, Davie urgently needed specialized treatment that is not available in Guyana. With the support of SHEA Charity, our medical partners, kindhearted donors, and volunteers, Davie, her brother, and her mother embarked on a journey filled with uncertainty, hope, and determination.

Over the past seven months, she has endured intensive chemotherapy, immunotherapy, a bone marrow transplant, and countless tests and medical procedures. There were difficult days and setbacks along the way, but through it all, she continued to face every challenge with incredible courage and resilience.

Today, we are thrilled to share the news we have all been praying for:

✨ Davie is cancer-free. ✨

Her medical team in Armenian has officially cleared her to return home to Guyana in early July. Once home, she will continue her maintenance treatment and follow-up care under the care of the dedicated Oncology Team at Georgetown Public Hospital.

This moment is nothing short of extraordinary. What began as a desperate search for lifesaving treatment has become a story of hope, perseverance, and the power of a community coming together to save a child’s life.

As we prepare for Davie’s return home, we are seeking a sponsor or sponsors to help cover the cost of bringing Davie, her brother, and her mother home to Guyana. If you or your organization would be willing to sponsor their flights home, please contact us at [email protected].

Thank you to every person who donated, shared her story, prayed for her, and stood beside her throughout this journey. Because of you, a little girl who once faced impossible odds now has the opportunity to look forward to a healthy future.

❤️ Liana Update ❤️

Just days ago, 16-month-old Liana was fighting for her life in Guyana after suffering devastating burn injuries. But thanks to the incredible support, prayers, and generosity of so many of you, she is safely in Texas receiving the specialized care she urgently needed.

Since arriving, Liana has undergone multiple surgeries and is now stable. While she remains in critical condition and still faces a long and challenging road ahead, we are encouraged by the progress she is making each day.

One of the greatest blessings is learning that despite the severe burns to her face, head, and around her eyes, her vision was not affected. In the midst of so much uncertainty, this news has brought tremendous hope to her family and medical team.

Liana’s journey is far from over. She will require extensive surgeries and ongoing treatment in the weeks ahead, but this brave little girl continues to fight, and she is surrounded by a dedicated and compassionate team working tirelessly to help her heal.

Please continue to keep Liana in your thoughts and prayers. Your support has already helped make lifesaving treatment possible, and we ask that you continue standing with her as she faces the long road to recovery.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of Liana’s fight. 🙏🏻

More than 400,000 people viewed Liana’s story.

Over 5,000 people reacted to it.
More than 800 people shared it.

Yet only $3,500 has been donated toward her care.

Liana is only 16-months-old and she’s fighting for her life. She has suffered devastating burn injuries and urgently needs lifesaving medical treatment.

Imagine what would happen if just a small fraction of the people who saw her story donated $10.

Not $100.
Not $50.

Just $10.

A simple act of kindness from many people can become something extraordinary.

We often ask ourselves what we would do if it were our child, our grandchild, our niece, or our nephew. Today, we have an opportunity to answer that question.

Please donate if you can.
Please share if you cannot.
But most of all, please do not scroll past.

Leana needs us.

URGENT: Help Save Liana’s Life No child should ever have to endure the pain that little Liana … Lori Narine needs your support for Save Baby Liana

Update: Liana is One Step Closer to Healing ❤️‍🩹

We are relieved to share that Liana has safely departed Guyana aboard Jet ICU medical air ambulance and has arrived in the United States.

After an incredibly difficult and critical journey, she is now with a specialized medical team and is scheduled to undergo surgery this morning.

This transfer was a vital first step, but Liana’s fight is far from over. She remains critically ill and will require extensive medical care, hospitalization, and ongoing treatment in the weeks ahead.

We will continue to keep everyone updated on her progress as information becomes available.

At this time, we are also making an urgent appeal for financial support. While we were able to get Liana safely to the United States, the costs associated with her medical care, recovery, and ongoing support are significant. We urgently need donations to help ensure that she remains financially sustained throughout her treatment and recovery.

Every donation, no matter the amount, helps give this precious little girl a chance to heal.

Thank you for your prayers, your generosity, and for standing with Liana and her family during this critical time.

URGENT: Help Save Liana’s Life

No child should ever have to endure the pain that little Liana is facing today.

In a matter of moments, Liana’s life changed forever when she sustained devastating burns while sleeping in her bed. She was rushed to the Linden Health Center before quickly being transferred to Georgetown Public Hospital, where she’s currently being managed by the very skilled and compassionate burn care team.

Liana suffered extensive third-degree burns to her face and scalp, along with serious burns to her chest and right arm. The injuries are severe, and her tiny body is not only fighting unimaginable pain, but also life-threatening complications that often follow major burns, including infection, fluid loss, organ failure, and permanent disfigurement.

Despite the best efforts of her medical team in Guyana, the specialized burn care and reconstructive treatment she urgently needs are not available locally. Doctors have recommended emergency transfer to the United States, where she can receive lifesaving treatment from pediatric burn specialists experienced in managing complex cases like hers.

Every hour matters.

Severe burns are among the most painful and dangerous injuries a child can experience. Without access to advanced burn care, skin grafting, reconstructive surgery, and intensive rehabilitation, Liana will not survive.

SHEA Charity is working urgently to secure Liana’s transfer to the United States and coordinate the specialized medical care she needs. However, the costs for emergency medical transport (medevac) is $70,000 USD. In addition, there are substantial expenses associated international patient and family support for the treatment duration.

We cannot do this alone.

We are asking our community, friends, supporters, and compassionate strangers to stand with Liana during the fight of her life.

No donation is too small. Please help us save this baby.

Donate. Share. Pray.

Because every child deserves a chance to live.

💛 RIP Sweet Baby Nathaniel🎗️

With hearts completely broken, we share the devastating news that sweet baby Nathaniel passed away peacefully at 10:15am yesterday morning, after a long and difficult battle with complications from pneumonia.

Nathaniel fought so hard while doctors worked tirelessly to stabilize him so he could safely travel for treatment. But despite every effort, his little body became too tired to keep fighting.

There are no words strong enough for this kind of heartbreak. No parent should ever have to say goodbye to their child like this. Our hearts ache deeply for his mom, dad, and sister as they face another unimaginable loss.

SHEA will continue to stand beside Nathaniel’s family through this painful time. We are committed to covering his funeral expenses, along with any outstanding medical costs related to his care.

While the pain feels impossible to bear, our only comfort is knowing that Nathaniel is no longer suffering. We hold tightly to the beautiful thought that he is now in heaven with his big brother Nathan; the brother he never got the chance to meet here on earth, but who we pray welcomed him with open arms through heaven’s gates. Together, may they watch over their family with the gentle love only angels can give.

To every single person who prayed, donated, shared his story, and stood beside this family during their darkest days, thank you. Your love, kindness, and support gave this family comfort, dignity, and hope throughout this journey.

Update to this section: All remaining funds raised for Nathaniel’s treatment has been transferred to help baby Liana who was severely burned in a house fire and needed to be transferred by medical air ambulance to the United States for emergency lifesaving treatment.

Please continue to keep Nathaniel’s family in your prayers and close to your hearts.💔

The road ahead will not be easy. Over the next 6–10 months, Nathaniel will undergo aggressive chemotherapy, bone marrow transplant, and critical follow-up care after transplant.

To every single person who donated, shared his story, prayed, or stood beside this family during this unimaginable time, THANK YOU! Your compassion and generosity helped make this possible and gave Nathaniel a chance to fight for his life.
