Last year’s Floral Park Lacrosse Alumni Games once again brought the community together in support of Floral Park Youth Lacrosse — a program that’s been growing local talent since 1986.

The women’s game saw its biggest turnout since its revival in 2021, honoring the legacy of beloved coach, teacher, and mentor Mary Jane Morra. The “Play for MJ” crowd brought the noise, and the players matched that energy on the field, turning out a spirited game that highlighted how far the girls division of FPYL has come in recent years.

Families filled the sidelines, cheering on former coaches and teammates, and the tradition continued postgame at Trinity’s, where the crowd packed in to catch up, load up on new merch, and support FPYL. The event once again proved that lacrosse in Floral Park isn’t just a sport — it’s a legacy.

Looking forward to this year’s game and catching up at KoC! Must be 21 or older to drink.

Last year’s Floral Park Lacrosse Alumni Games once again brought the community together in support of Floral Park Youth Lacrosse — a program that’s been growing local talent since 1986.

The Chris Deeks Alumni Game brought the heat on the men’s side, with over 60 alumni — ranging from recent grads to longtime legends — lacing up for an odds vs. evens showdown. The odds took the win, but the real victory was in the turnout. Jerseys from every era made an appearance: 80s and 90s classics, TOGS summer pinnies, and vintage PAL gear.

Families filled the sidelines, cheering on former coaches and teammates, and the tradition continued postgame at Trinity’s, where the crowd packed in to catch up, load up on new merch, and support FPYL. The event once again proved that lacrosse in Floral Park isn’t just a sport — it’s a legacy.

Looking forward to this year’s game and catching up at KoC! Must be 21 or older to drink.
