The Black 6 Project

The Black 6 Project The Black 6 Project are vets and civilians that have come together to find a mission. Their first mission is to send humanitarian aid to the Philippines

The Black 6 Project was born from a passion to help others in need. The founders Joseph Zoleta, David Guzman, and Francis Faustino have made it a career in taking care of those in need. Francis is a board certified family practitioner and both David and Joseph are paramedics in New York City. David and Joseph provide EMS care in a city that receives about 1.43 million emergency medical service cal

ls a year. Before they were paramedics though, David and Joseph served in separate armed services but ones that would be all too familiar with each other. Dave was a corpsman for the Navy and Joseph was a grunt for the Marine Corps. The brotherhood that the Marines have with their Corpsman is undeniable so it would be only natural that these two would team up.

“To seek and reach those in need, and in turn, satisfy the need to serve and belong”

Both are combat veterans from deployments in Iraq and when they returned home and developed their careers, they both still felt the need to do more. They were working on their new company, “Black 6” when conversation brought them to the need to do more outside of their usual realm. As veterans, they found their appetite to serve for a greater cause could not easily be satisfied. When they left their respective services, that fire to just get out there still smoldered inside. Many may succumb to the mediocre life, but they felt it would be an even greater achievement to serve on their own terms, and they quickly found many others with the same fire inside. The Black 6 Project is an organization that looks for volunteers that have the motivation to serve for the better good. It is an organization that can pool its resources of motivated individuals and bring care to those in need anywhere in the world. With the experience of their veteran leadership, The Black 6 Project is planning to deploy annually to different parts of the world. To read more about us visit our website www.black6project.org

Thanks to we marched together paying homage to those we lost in battle. From Brooklyn into Manhattan on a rainy New York day, we carried food in our rucksacks to donate to the veteran food pantry.

Years after service, we still find a mission. We still continue to remember and honor our fallen.

Memorial Day

Today we pause.

Not to celebrate. To remember.

Memorial Day belongs to the ones who never made it home. The ones who gave everything so the rest of us could have something.

To those of you who carry the weight of that loss, who served alongside someone who didn’t come back, we see you. We stand with you.

The greatest tribute you can pay them is to live a life they would have been proud of. Get up. Stay in the fight. Keep going. Earn it.

From all of us at The Black 6 Project, thank you for your sacrifice. And to those we’ve lost, you are never forgotten.

What starts in a New York office can change a life in the Philippines.

Our incredible corporate partners, sponsors, and volunteers gathered to pack school bags, and The Black 6 Project carried them straight to Mangyan students in Occidental Mindoro. Watching these kids open their bags, seeing their smiles and gratitude, there is no better reminder of why we do this work.

None of it happens without you. Every donation, every partnership, every volunteer hour connects directly to a child sitting in a classroom who now has the tools to learn.

Thank you to everyone who made this mission possible. You are the reason we keep going. 🎒🇵🇭

A big thank you to Kyle Palmieri Foundation for an amazing evening out with our Black 6 Team of volunteers. The Kyle Palmieri Foundation raises funds that support the Long Island Veteran Community. Kyle Palmieri took the time to meet with us and talk about Squad 21 where military Veterans and First Responders get to experience a New York Islanders game. He also handed out autographed hats for all of us. A great end to the evening was watching the Islanders seal the win over the Toronto Maple Leafs!

Bringing care, compassion, and community to the heart of Mindoro, Philippines

This week, the Black 6 team delivered patient care packages to rural hospitals across Occidental Mindoro — facilities that serve some of the island’s most remote communities, including members of the Mangyan tribe.

Every package represents hope.
Every act of service makes a difference.

We are incredibly grateful to our volunteers who gave their time and energy, and to our corporate partners whose generosity made this mission possible. This impact belongs to you.

This project is dedicated in loving memory of Norma Zoleta — a devoted mother and grandmother to many. Her spirit of love, generosity, and service lives on through every life touched.

Together, we serve.
Together, we uplift.
Together, we remember.

❤️ Happy Valentine’s Day from The Black 6 Project! ❤️

Today, we celebrate love in action.

This Valentine’s Day, we’re sharing a special look at what love truly looks like to us — volunteers packing care packages with purpose, corporate sponsors standing beside us in support, and the powerful moments in the Philippines where those same packages were placed directly into the hands of patients in need.

From preparation… to partnership… to distribution across three hospitals in the Philippines — this is compassion without borders.

Love isn’t just something we say.
It’s something we deliver. 🤍

To our volunteers, our sponsors, and our community — thank you for helping us turn generosity into impact.

Veterans are the backbone of our organization. Individuals who have devoted their life to service.

It is from this ethic that we tap into this purpose, this wanting to help others, no matter where and when. Veterans endure and get the job done, showing no problem is too hard, no goal is too out of reach.

Happy Veterans Day and thank you all for your service! 🇺🇸🦅🫡
