11 Years Free—A Testament to God’s Grace
April 2 marks 11 years since I was released from prison and embarked on a new chapter in my life. I never envisioned the journey that lay ahead, including becoming a Justice Ambassador, advocating for those who have shared similar experiences, and even presenting my testimony to lawmakers at the Capitol.
Over the past two years, I have worked as a juvenile detention officer, mentoring young men at a critical crossroads. I have also had the privilege of volunteering within prisons, providing guidance and support to those still incarcerated. Every step of this journey has been about giving back, as I am deeply aware that personal transformation is possible.
Throughout this journey, God’s grace has been my constant guide. This is not merely my story; it serves as a testament to the reality of redemption, the significance of second chances, and the understanding that one’s past does not dictate their future.
To anyone striving for a better future, I urge you to persevere. Your purpose transcends your past.
