Our Teen Mission Trip Team met last night for some training and preparing for their trip in December.

They’ll build a house in Acuna, Mexico for a family in need. They’ll work with Casas Por Cristo and a local pastor to share the gospel!

The group practiced nailing and learning to square up the foundation and house.

Did you see it?!? The Tentative 2027 Summer Schedule is now out!

Read below on some of the schedule changes. Mark your calendars. Invite your friends. And get ready for another incredible summer at Oil Belt!

With Memorial Day falling so late in May this year, we had to move a few things around — and we’re also trying some changes based on what we learned last summer!
😎Genesis & Pathfinder 1
These camps have historically run at the same time, but both have been growing and pushing our capacity! This year, we’re separating their start times during Memorial Day week to give each camp more room.
We’re excited to try it and see how it grows!
🏀 Senior High Athletes
Last summer, Senior High Athletes landed right as fall sports were getting underway, which made attendance difficult for some students. For 2027, we’re moving it up to No Contact Week and pairing it with Worship & Ministry Camp.
Both camps will have capacity limits, so be ready when registration opens!
🎣 NEW Fishing Camps!
We’re planning both a Junior High Boys Fishing Camp and a Senior High Boys Fishing Camp in 2027! We’ll announce the official dates in January, but expect them somewhere around the first few weeks of the summer schedule.
🇺🇸 A few other calendar changes…
With the Fourth of July weekend and the way the calendar falls this year, a few camps had to move around. Discovery Camp will begin on a Tuesday. You’ll also notice some changes to Father-Child Camp and Sunrise Day Camp.
Pathfinder 2 also lands a little later at the end of the summer this year — sometimes that’s just how the calendar falls!
⚠️ Remember: This schedule is TENTATIVE.
Official dates and complete camp information will be released in January.
⭐ REGISTRATION OPENS MONDAY, MARCH 1! ⭐
After another record-breaking summer, we can’t wait to see what God has in store for 2027.

🦭 STRANGE 2026: SEAL 🌊

What do you get when you combine nearly 200 junior high students and leaders, octo-dogs 🐙, blue-green mac & cheese , Mountain Dew for breakfast, crazy games, dodgeball, a campfire, and some awesome worship? You get STRANGE! 🤪

For nearly 20 years, STRANGE has been bringing junior high students together for an overnight experience that’s just a little… well, STRANGE!

This year, we welcomed a team from Bible University in Moberly, Missouri, who led worship and challenged students through our underwater-themed SEAL Service experience! 🦭

Throughout the event, students learned about the life of Jesus through four important qualities: Service, Experience, Academics, and Leadership. We had a blast being silly, but the message was serious: learning to live more like Jesus!

From wild and crazy meals to late-night dodgeball, games in the Activity Building, worship, and a Sunday night campfire in the woods, it was an unforgettable 24 hours!

A HUGE thank-you to the youth ministers and leaders who brought their junior high students, the college students who helped lead, and everyone who made STRANGE possible!

STRANGE might be a little weird, but seeing junior high students worship Jesus, build friendships, and grow in their faith never gets old! ❤️
