I was planning a celebratory gala event with fireworks, but the dogs voted no, so I will have to be content with this outrageously happy post. Trex has been adopted. As I predicted, he is getting along fine with both the humans and other dogs in his new home. It's been a long time coming for this good dog. Six months at a county shelter, 2 1/2 years here and I kept telling you all what a prize he was! This family saw his greatness. It will be a huge adjustment for Trex but I think he's up for it. So imagine 🎆 fireworks, but we won't actually set them off. Happy tails!

Won't someone give Mojo a chance? He could be looking happy like this all the time, if only he had a home again, and someone to love him. This well-behaved gentleman was abandoned in the country one day last summer. It was obvious he'd been well cared for. He was already neutered, excellently housetrained, great on a leash. Seems to be friendly with everyone including kids, dogs, and cats. Mojo does have separation anxiety. He needs a home where he gets adequate exercise and human attention. 240 522 7416 to learn more.

Jack is the best boy! He can't help it that he's older, and doesn't see well anymore. His heart is huge and he's ready to give it to YOU! A yard to explore, a soft bed, toys to chew on - that's all he needs. This 9 year old guy is very well housetrained, and loves hanging out with people. Neutered and fully vetted. There's got to be a loving home for him out there. Please share, to help him find it. 240 522 7416.

Thank you Lucky for this much-needed repair to one of our kennels today! There was a huge gaping hole in the wall, and the entire bottom half of the door was a chewed, mangled mess. All complements of previous canine residents. My buddy Lucky had everything shipshape in no time at all. Guess how much he billed me? Nada. So grateful for this kind of practical support from a licensed contractor. Didn't he do good??

Neutered, up to date on shots, has been kept on heartworm preventative here. 70 lbs. About 5 years old now. Good energy. Trex had a family once. I keep running out of dog food, and with Hotshot's recent emergency surgery, cash flow right now is more of a trickle. The dogs here would really appreciate some donated food.
