Winter WineFest VII Braves the Cold to Raise $7,300 for Glendale Students
FALLENTIMBER, PA – Despite bitter winter temperatures, hundreds of community members gathered at The Pines in Fallentimber on Saturday, February 7, for the Glendale Education Foundation’s Winter WineFest VII. The annual event successfully raised $7,300, which will directly support learning projects, student awards, and special educational programs within the Glendale School District.
The event featured a diverse array of vendors offering wine tastings and distilled products, alongside local artisans showcasing jewelry, jams, chocolates, and handcrafted goods. The atmosphere was bolstered by a massive community raffle featuring dozens of gift baskets, door prizes, and high-value items donated by local supporters.
“We are very grateful to all our vendors, supporters, donors, and the entire Glendale community,” said Nancy Gobert, Event Chairperson. “The turnout was incredible given the weather, proving once again how much this community cares about its students.”
Sherri Campbell, Foundation Board President, echoed these sentiments, highlighting the dedication of the staff and volunteers. “We have such a great group of volunteers who are committed to helping fund opportunities for our Glendale students. Their hard work and the generosity of those who donated prizes made this year's WineFest a resounding success.”
